Sandwiched between listed buildings on a small triangular site this design incorporated two compact one bedroom flats. The cantilevering form of the first floor permitted garden spaces to both flats without compromising on floor space.
The proposal incorporates natural materials such as timber cladding, with sliding timber screens to help control daylight and heat gains from south facing windows. The flat roof reduces the overall bulk whilst also allowing space for roof mounted solar panels.
