This contemporary new build house was situated in Old Windsor on the banks of the River Thames. 

The design adopted a semi-nautical style, but avoided the obvious pastiche, with the material palette being chosen to suit and complement its riverside setting. 

Unusual environmental features include reinforced concrete walls in permanent polystyrene formwork (Beco block), a heat recovery and ventilation system and underfloor heating.
